General courses information:

You may choose your courses from two categories, Live-Online and eLearning (self-paced) courses:

Live-Online courses are offered via a live online platform, and involve live, synchronous classes, which require students and instructors to be online at the same specific date and time.

The LIVE sessions will take place on the scheduled dates and times via the Microsoft Teams platform. Further information concerning the course of your choice will be sent to you via email 7 days before the start of the course. 

On this (TalentLMS) platform, you will be able to view and/or download the course presentation and material, and complete the Feedback Survey after the end of the course. 

Access links for the Live sessions (Microsoft Teams) as well as access to the TalentLMS platform (for the course material and feedback survey), will be provided to you 1 day before the start of the course.

Your access to the TalentLMS portal for each Live-Online course, will expire 120 days after course enrollment/ acquisition.

eLearning Courses are self-paced online courses, which consist of pre-recorded video presentations, exercises and case studies. Learners may start, stop, and resume their training at any time.

Access to the eLearning course of your choice is immediate.

Your access to the TalentLMS portal for each eLearning course, will expire 180 days after course enrollment/ acquisition.

How to register to a course:

    1) Log onto the platform with your credentials:

o   Please be informed that your login credentials for the TalentLMS platform will only be sent once and will remain the same indefinitely. In case you forget your password, you may change it via the platform.

o   In case you have participated in any EIMF courses in the past, this means that you already have an account and login credentials. In case you have forgotten your password, you may change it via the platform.

    2) Update your details as requested the first time you log in.

    3) Click on the Course Catalogue option found on the right-hand side of your screen

    4) The course Catalogue will appear. Green icons (shown first on the catalogue) concern “Live-Online courses”, whilst the Blue icons concern “self-paced, e-Learning courses”.

    5) You can click on the Categories on the right-hand side of your screen to select only "Live-Online" courses, or only "Online Self Paced CPD" courses. Alternatively, you may move to the bottom of the page, and use the arrows to show more courses, or to move to the next page.

    6) Click on the course of your choice.

    7) Click on the “Get this course” blue button on the left-hand side of the screen.

 

 How to de-register (unenroll) from a course:

    1) Move your cursor on the "Learner" tab, located on the top-right of your screen.

    2) From the drop-down menu, click on "My Courses".

    3) From the list of your courses, move your cursor over the course of your choice, and click on the minus (-) Unenroll option, found under the Options (last) column.

IMPORTANT: Based on CySEC's Circular NO. C421, dated 13 December 2020:

       "The professional training courses for the Basic and Advanced certification must concern topics «that fall within the existing legislation on the capital market», for example, the analysis/explanation/application (based on best practices) of the provisions of the laws, regulations, directives, guidelines or circulars regarding the capital market.

The professional training courses for the AML Compliance Officer certification must concern topics that fall within the existing legislation regarding the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Laws, for example, the analysis/explanation/application (based on best practices) of the provisions of the laws, regulations, directives, guidelines or circulars regarding the money laundering and terrorist financing.

However, there are professional training courses that cover topics like ethics and professional conduct (including anti-bribery and anti-corruption) and corporate governance, and these courses should not exceed the 50% of the total hours of the CPT."

Courses on the EIMF catalogue which should not exceed the 50% of the total hours of the CPT, have the following quote: "For CySEC's requirements, CPD units attained from this course should not exceed the 50% of the total CPD Units of each individual."
